Mapes Baptist Church is a beacon of faith and community nestled in the serene countryside of Vanderhoof, BC. Located on the picturesque Blackwater Road, our church stands as a testament to the unwavering spirit of worship and fellowship.

Pastor Ron DeMoss

Lead Pastor

Pastor Ron DeMoss has faithfully led the Mapes Baptist Church family for over 13 years alongside his beloved wife Linda, who went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2025. Together, they built a legacy of grace, compassion, and unwavering dedication to God's Word.

Pastor Ron continues that mission today, bringing heartfelt teaching and pastoral care rooted in Scripture while guiding us through the challenges of life with hope and faith.
